Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon water


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, scramble the eggs, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix in the diced ham and shredded cheese until melted.
  4. Roll out the crescent dough and place a spoonful of the egg mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough around the filling and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake according to package instructions until golden brown.
  7. For the hollandaise, melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  8. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, lemon juice, and water.
  9. Slowly drizzle in the melted butter while whisking until thickened.
  10. Serve the breakfast rolls drizzled with hollandaise sauce.
