Description

A healthier take on the classic Snickers bar, combining bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate for a delicious frozen treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter (or your favorite nut/seed butter)
  • 45 tbsp dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 tsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp chopped peanuts (or other chopped nuts/seeds)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel each banana and slice in half lengthwise.
  3. Cut each long half into two pieces to get 8 long banana slabs.
  4. Arrange them on the prepared tray.
  5. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter over each banana piece.
  6. Scatter chopped peanuts over the peanut-butter layer and add a tiny pinch of sea salt.
  7. Combine dark chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  8. Heat in 20–30 second bursts, stirring until melted and glossy.
  9. Spoon or drizzle the melted chocolate over each banana slice.
  10. Freeze the tray for at least 60 minutes, or until the chocolate is set solid.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and experiment with different nut butters for varied flavors.
