Description

A delicious and easy breakfast option combining the flavors of apple and cinnamon in a crispy quesadilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the diced apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well combined.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  4. Add the apple mixture on top of the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the apples.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Repeat with the second tortilla.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas.
  • Serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
