- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 large apple, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the diced apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
- Add the apple mixture on top of the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the apples.
- Fold the tortilla in half and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Repeat with the second tortilla.
- Slice into wedges and serve warm.
Notes
- For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas.
- Serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins for extra texture.
