Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe banana in a microwave-safe mug until smooth.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the mug. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in any optional ingredients like chocolate chips or walnuts, if using.
  4. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, checking after 1 minute. The cake is done when it has risen and is set in the middle.
