Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and bake according to package instructions until golden brown.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  4. Add the water and lemon juice to the saucepan and stir until smooth.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  7. Add the sliced strawberries to the mixture and stir gently to coat.
  8. Pour the strawberry mixture into the baked pie crust.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  10. Serve chilled with whipped cream on top.
