Description

A comforting and easy-to-make tuna noodle casserole that the whole family will love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, tuna, peas, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, use whole wheat noodles.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or bell peppers.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
