Description

A classic Tuna Casserole recipe that is easy to make and perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of tuna, drained
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 2 cups of cooked egg noodles
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, cooked egg noodles, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix everything together until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
