Description

Delightful Thai Basil Beef Rolls featuring lean ground beef, fresh vegetables, and fragrant basil wrapped in rice paper.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded carrots
  • 1 cup Chopped bell peppers
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 8 sheets Rice paper wrappers

Instructions

  1. Cook the lean ground beef in a non-stick pan over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the soy sauce and hoisin sauce to the cooked beef, stirring to combine.
  3. Stir in the shredded carrots and chopped bell peppers, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the fresh basil leaves, allowing them to wilt slightly.
  5. Soak one rice paper wrapper in warm water until pliable, about 10-15 seconds.
  6. Lay the soaked wrapper on a clean surface.
  7. Spoon a small amount of the meat mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
  8. Fold the sides over the filling, then roll from the bottom, tucking tightly as you go.
  9. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  10. Serve the rolls with your choice of dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce or a soy-based dip.

Notes

Feel free to include other vegetables like cucumber or avocado for additional flavor and texture.
