- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bread
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the sliced mushrooms. Sauté until they are golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix together the Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the cheese mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Top two slices of bread with the sautéed mushrooms, then place the other slices on top, cheese side up.
- Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
