Description

A delicious and hearty recipe for stuffed bell peppers filled with beef, perfect for a family meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned.
  4. Add the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers and place them in a baking dish.
  6. If using, sprinkle cheese on top of the stuffed peppers.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite vegetables.
  • Leftover filling can be served as a side dish.
