Description

A delightful and sweet snack mix that combines the flavors of strawberry shortcake in a fun and easy-to-make puppy chow recipe.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Once melted, add the strawberry cake mix to the white chocolate and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently stir to coat the cereal evenly.
  5. In a separate bag, combine the powdered sugar and chopped strawberries.
  6. Add the coated cereal to the bag and shake until all pieces are covered with the powdered sugar mixture.
  7. Spread the puppy chow on a baking sheet to cool before serving.
