Ingredients

  • 2 packages of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one package of pie crust and place it in a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the strawberry jam evenly over the crust.
  4. Add the sliced strawberries on top of the jam.
  5. Roll out the second package of pie crust and place it over the filling.
  6. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
  7. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before drizzling with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
  10. Add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • For a more intense strawberry flavor, use fresh strawberries instead of jam.
