Ingredients

- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, melted butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, toss the chopped strawberries with cornstarch and layer them over the oat mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top of the strawberries.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Can substitute strawberries with other berries if desired.
