A light and creamy dessert made with fresh strawberries and mascarpone cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, remaining powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the macarpone mixture into the strawberries until well combined.
- Divide the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with additional strawberries before serving, if desired.

Notes
- For a sweeter mousse, adjust the amount of powdered sugar to taste.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
