Description

A deliciously unique tart combining the sweetness of strawberries with the savory flavor of feta and the aromatic touch of thyme.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made tart shell
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the tart shell in a tart pan and bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the crumbled feta cheese evenly over the baked tart shell.
  5. Layer the honeyed strawberries on top of the feta.
  6. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the strawberries.
  7. Bake the tart for an additional 15-20 minutes until the strawberries are soft.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
