Description

A light and fluffy dessert perfect for spring, featuring ripe strawberries.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups ripe strawberries, sliced
  • Whipped cream for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool completely before removing it from the pan.
  8. Once cooled, top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
