Description

A delightful and moist cake made with strawberries and almond flour, perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Combine all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the sliced strawberries and chopped almonds.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
