Description

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Peanut butter for drizzling (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the melted butter and sugars in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Stir in the egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add baking soda and salt, then stir in the flour until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bars cool before cutting into squares. Drizzle with peanut butter if desired.
