Description

Delicious and festive truffles made with Oreos, perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Oreo cookies (about 15-20 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Green candy melts
  • Sprinkles (green and gold)


Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the green candy melts according to package instructions.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted candy and place back on the parchment paper.
  7. Before the candy hardens, sprinkle with green and gold sprinkles.
  8. Let the truffles set completely before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use double-stuffed Oreos.
  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
