Spiced Pumpkin Waffles

Description

Spiced Pumpkin Waffles are golden, fluffy, and filled with warm autumn spices. The perfect fall breakfast or holiday brunch treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 to 1 2/3 cups milk (start with 1 cup, add more if needed)
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted and cooled

Instructions

  1. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk eggs, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, milk, and melted butter.
  3. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into preheated waffle iron (about 1 cup batter per Belgian waffle).
  5. Cook 4–5 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Serve hot with maple syrup, whipped cream, or toppings of choice.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 3 days or freeze up to 2 months. Reheat in a toaster or oven for crisp edges.
