Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Wood chips for smoking (hickory or applewood)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F (121°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken legs with the spice mixture evenly.
  4. Place the chicken legs in the smoker and add wood chips for flavor.
  5. Smoke the chicken legs for about 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the chicken legs from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
