Description

Delicious quesadillas inspired by the classic Smashburger, featuring juicy beef and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  5. Add the beef mixture over the cheese, then top with the remaining cheese and the second tortilla.
  6. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice into wedges, and serve hot.
