  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup uncooked pasta (such as penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the chicken broth, diced tomatoes, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken in the slow cooker.
  5. Add the uncooked pasta and stir to combine.
  6. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  7. Stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese just before serving.
