Description
A delicious and easy recipe for creamy cheesy chicken penne made in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups penne pasta
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
- Add the penne pasta to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix well before serving.

Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute chicken with turkey or a plant-based protein for a vegetarian option.
