- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and green bell pepper over medium heat until the meat is browned.
- Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and mustard. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and place them on top of the meat mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the meat mixture.
