Description

A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet and savory honey sesame sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the marinated chicken.
  4. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  6. Add the slurry to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
