- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add the marinated chicken.
- Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
- Add the slurry to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
