Ingredients

  • 2 oranges, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the orange juice, zest, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and rub the olive oil all over it.
  4. Pour the orange mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  5. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve with your favorite sides.
