Description

A simple and delicious recipe for chicken thighs cooked in a Dutch oven, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  4. Brown the chicken thighs on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  6. Add chicken broth to the pot, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  7. Return the chicken to the pot, skin side up.
  8. Cover and transfer to the oven.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
