Ingredients

- 1 cup purple fruit peels (grape, blueberry, plum, or acai skins)
- 2 thin slices of fresh ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Peel of ½ lemon or orange
- 3 cups filtered water
- Optional: 1 tsp dried hibiscus or a few mint leaves
Instructions
- Add the fruit peels, ginger, cinnamon, and citrus peel to a medium saucepan.
- Pour in water and bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Cover and let it steep another 5 minutes.
- Strain into a jar or mug. Serve warm or chilled. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Notes
Sip 1 cup in the morning, ideally before breakfast. For extra flavor, stir in a slice of orange or a splash of apple cider vinegar (if tolerated). Pair with stable meals—nothing too sugary.
