Description

A gourmet pizza topped with savory prosciutto, fresh arugula, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh arugula
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove the pizza from the oven and layer the prosciutto slices over the hot cheese.
  8. Add the fresh arugula on top of the prosciutto.
  9. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and a little olive oil before serving.

  • For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Feel free to add other toppings like mushrooms or olives for extra flavor.
