Description

A comforting and flavorful soup with pork dumplings, vibrant vegetables, and a savory broth.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package pork dumplings
  • Optional: cooked chicken or shrimp
  • 6 cups broth (chicken or vegetable)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil


Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil over medium heat in a large pot.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and add the carrots and cabbage.
  5. Once the vegetables are tender, add the pork dumplings and cook according to package instructions.
  6. If using, add cooked chicken or shrimp to the pot.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

For better flavor, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant before adding the broth.
