Description

A creamy, cheesy potato dish with a crunchy topping that brings warmth and comfort to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain and cool.
  3. Peel and cube the potatoes.
  4. In a bowl, combine the sour cream, cheddar cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  5. Gently fold in the cubed potatoes until well coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle on top of the potato mixture.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden and the dish is heated through.
  9. Serve warm.
