Description

A simple and delicious recipe for making plain lo mein noodles at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of lo mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the noodles and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, mixing well to coat the noodles.
  7. Season with salt to taste and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
