Description

A delightful fusion of grilled cheese and pizza, these Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are quick to make and incredibly satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • Pepperoni slices (optional)
  • Olive oil or butter for grilling
  • Italian seasoning (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread pizza sauce on one slice of bread.
  3. Layer with cheese and pepperoni if using.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread.
  5. Spread olive oil or butter on the outside of the sandwich.
  6. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Serve hot, optionally sprinkling with Italian seasoning.
