- 2 slices of cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
- Pepperoni slices (optional)
- Olive oil or butter for grilling
- Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread pizza sauce on one slice of bread.
- Layer with cheese and pepperoni if using.
- Top with the second slice of bread.
- Spread olive oil or butter on the outside of the sandwich.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve hot, optionally sprinkling with Italian seasoning.
