Description

A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, these roll ups are perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 package of egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the bell peppers and onions, cooking until softened.
  3. Mix in the cream cheese until melted and combined.
  4. Place a spoonful of the mixture onto an egg roll wrapper.
  5. Sprinkle with provolone cheese and roll up tightly.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and fry the roll ups until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the filling.
  • These can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
