- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
- Beat in egg and vanilla until well blended.
- Combine flour and salt in a separate bowl, and gradually add to the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Roll dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Make an indentation in the center of each cookie using your thumb.
- Combine corn syrup and heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until boiling.
- Pour a teaspoon of the mixture into the indentation of each cookie.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cookies are lightly golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
