Description

A refreshing and creamy green pea salad recipe by Paula Deen, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen green peas, thawed
  • 1 cup diced cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the thawed green peas, cheddar cheese, and red onion.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. If using, fold in the crumbled bacon.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
