Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • Fresh rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Take the steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until hot.
  3. Add the steak to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the desired doneness is reached.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, add butter, crushed garlic, and rosemary to the pan. Spoon the melted butter over the steak as it cooks.
  5. Remove from heat and let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

For best results, let the steak reach room temperature before cooking and allow it to rest afterward for juicy results.
