Description

Learn how to make delicious oven roasted carrots that are perfectly sweet and caramelized.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the carrot sticks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. If using, drizzle honey over the carrots and toss again.
  4. Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs if desired before serving.
