A delicious and easy recipe for crispy oven-fried feta rolls, perfect as an appetizer or snack.
Ingredients

- 200g feta cheese
- 4 sheets of phyllo pastry
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, crumble the feta cheese and mix it with oregano and black pepper.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush it with olive oil.
- Place another sheet on top and brush it again with olive oil.
- Cut the layered phyllo into strips about 10cm wide.
- Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of each strip.
- Fold the sides over the filling and roll it up tightly.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm with a side of tzatziki or your favorite dipping sauce.
- For a spicier version, add some crushed red pepper flakes to the feta mixture.
