Description

Delightful rolls of creamy feta cheese wrapped in phyllo dough, baked to golden perfection and drizzled with chili honey for a sweet and spicy twist.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block of feta cheese
  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup of chili honey
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the feta cheese into sticks.
  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush with olive oil.
  4. Place a feta stick at one end of the phyllo and roll it up tightly.
  5. Brush the top with more olive oil and sprinkle with paprika and garlic powder.
  6. Repeat until all feta is wrapped.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  9. Drizzle with chili honey and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  10. Serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze before baking for up to 2 months; bake from frozen and add a few extra minutes.
