Description

A delicious and easy recipe for lasagna made in one pot, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 4 cups water
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, water, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Break lasagna noodles into pieces and add to the pot.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once noodles are tender, stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, cover, and let it melt.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • This dish can be made ahead and reheated for leftovers.
