Description

Deliciously rich and creamy Nutella cheesecake cupcakes that are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract and Nutella.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream, mixing until well combined.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with the chocolate batter, then add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on top.
  8. Top with more chocolate batter until the liners are about 3/4 full.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add more Nutella to the cream cheese mixture.
  • These cupcakes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Top with whipped cream or additional Nutella for extra indulgence.
