- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the M&Ms, reserving some for topping.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan and sprinkle the reserved M&Ms on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Feel free to substitute chocolate chips for M&Ms if desired.
- For a nutty flavor, add chopped nuts to the mixture.
