A decadent treat that combines the rich flavors of chocolate fudge with the wholesome goodness of oatmeal and colorful M&Ms.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the M&Ms, reserving some for topping.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan and sprinkle the reserved M&Ms on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Feel free to substitute chocolate chips for M&Ms if desired.
  • For a nutty flavor, add chopped nuts to the mixture.
