Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • Butter, for spreading


Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut the bread into heart shapes.
  3. Butter one side of each heart-shaped bread slice.
  4. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  5. Add a slice of cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  6. Top with another heart-shaped bread slice, buttered side up.
  7. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before serving.
