- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup minced meat (beef or chicken)
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)
- Chili sauce for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, water, salt, sugar, and baking powder until a smooth batter forms.
- Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Pour a ladle of batter into the skillet, spreading it evenly to form a thin pancake.
- Cook until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown.
- Add the minced meat, green onions, and cheese (if using) on one half of the pancake.
- Crack an egg over the filling and fold the pancake in half to cover the filling.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the egg is set and the pancake is crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and cut into pieces.
- Serve hot with chili sauce.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite ingredients.
- For a vegetarian version, use tofu or vegetables instead of meat.
