- 2 cups heavy cream (or coconut milk for dairy-free)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup mango puree (fresh or canned)
- 1 mango, diced (for topping)
- 1/2 cup mango coulis (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the water in a small bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Remove the hot cream from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Mix in the mango puree until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into serving cups or molds and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
- Top with diced mango and drizzle with mango coulis if desired.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk. Allow adequate chilling time for the panna cotta to set properly.
