Description

A creamy and dreamy blend of mango and cream, this Mango Panna Cotta is a perfect dessert that transports you to tropical shores with every spoonful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream (or coconut milk for dairy-free)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup mango puree (fresh or canned)
  • 1 mango, diced (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup mango coulis (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin over the water in a small bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Remove the hot cream from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Mix in the mango puree until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into serving cups or molds and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  6. Top with diced mango and drizzle with mango coulis if desired.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk. Allow adequate chilling time for the panna cotta to set properly.
