Description

A delicious and creamy chicken dish inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse, featuring a crispy Parmesan crust and a rich sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  4. In a third dish, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine and heat through.
  9. Serve the chicken topped with the creamy sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before cooking.
  • Serve with a side of pasta or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
