- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix the flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- In a third dish, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine and heat through.
- Serve the chicken topped with the creamy sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before cooking.
