Description

A delightful twist on the classic Rice Krispy treats, infused with zesty lemon flavor, perfect for spring celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal


Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest until well combined.
  4. Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal, mixing until evenly coated.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
