Description

A delightful pastry filled with tangy lemon curd, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup lemon curd
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for sprinkling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface.
  3. Transfer the crust to a baking sheet.
  4. Spoon the lemon curd into the center of the crust, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Fold the edges of the crust over the lemon curd.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle sugar on top of the crust.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before serving.
